Installing the Batteries

In the Americas, batteries are not included with the camera.

The camera uses two lithium CR123A (or DL123A) batteries.

 

 

Open the battery compartment

Slide the release lever as shown by

 

 

 

 

the arrow and open the cover.

Install the batteries.

and ) are properly oriented as

 

 

shown.

 

 

Do not mix old and new batteries.

3 Closecover. the battery compartment

Press the cover until it snaps shut.

For places where CR123A (or DL123A) batteries may not be easily available, take spare batteries with you. Also carry spare batteries for extended shooting sessions.
