2 ATTACH AND LOCKS

First open the Multi connector cover (MULTI) on the bottom of the camcorder. Align the mark on the camcorder with the one on the Docking Station and slide the camcorder in the direction of the arrow. Slide the lock lever on the Docking Station in the direction of the arrow until it clicks. The camcorder and the Docking Station are now securely attached.

•When removing the camcorder, press the Release button and slide the lock lever in the opposite direction of the arrow and detach the camcorder in the opposite direction of the arrow.

3 SUPPLY POWER

The Docking Station must be powered by the AC adapter whether the battery is in the camcorder or not.

•The Docking Station cannot function using the camcorder’s battery.

NOTES:

When using the provided DC cord, make sure you connect the end of the cable with the core filter to the Docking Station. The core filter improves performance of equipment.

Never touch the Multi connector on the camcorder located beneath the cover, or on the Docking Station, with your hand. If the pins are damaged, the connectors will become unusable due to contact failure.

Charging The Camcorder Battery

If you attach the camcorder with the battery installed to the Docking Station, you can charge the battery. Set the Power Dial to “OFF”, then perform steps 1 through 3. The Docking Station’s charger indicator starts blinking to indicate that charging has begun. When it stops blinking but stays on, charging is complete.
