[NIGHT SCENERY] (P51) or [FIREWORKS] (P53) in scene mode is selected.

5:The camera becomes warm.

The surface of the camera may become warm during use. This does not affect the performance or quality of the camera.

6:The lens clicks.

When the brightness changes due to zoom or camera movement etc., the lens may click and the picture on the screen may drastically change.

However, the picture is not affected. The sound is caused by the automatic adjustment of the aperture.

This is not a malfunction.

7:The clock is reset.

If you do not use the camera for a long time, the clock may be reset. When the message [PLEASE SET THE CLOCK] appears, set the clock again. (P19)

When you take a picture before setting

the clock, [0:00 0. 0. 0] is recorded.

8:Colors appear on the picture which were not found in the actual scene.

Depending on the zoom magnification, the picture may have some colored fringes around the subject. This is called chromatic aberration and may be more visible when recording distant subjects. However this is not a malfunction.
