ªRecording a Moving Picture (MPEG4)

It is possible to record approximately 6 minutes moving pictures on supplied 8MB SD Memory Card. If you want to play back on the computer, recorded MPEG4 data can be played back on Windows Media Player. After installing G726 Driver that is enclosed in the supplied USB Connection Kit, play it back with Windows Media Player.

Recording from the Movie Camera Lens (Camera Mode)

1Slide the [TAPE/CARD] Selector towards [CARD].

2Slide the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Selector Switch to [MPEG4].

3Press the Recording Start/Stop Button.

During recording the [ ] Indication 1 is lit in red. Recording is not possible while the [ACCESS] Indication is lit.

The picture size of the MPEG4 is set to be [176t144].

When attaching to email, we recommend the picture size to be less than 1MB (about 1 minute length).

Recording from a cassette (VCR Mode)

1Slide the [TAPE/CARD] Selector towards [CARD].

2Slide the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Selector Switch to [MPEG4].

3Start playback at the scene you want to record, press the Recording Start/Stop Button.

ªRecording Voice (Voice Recording)

It is possible to record approximately 25 minutes Voice data on supplied 8MB SD Memory Card.

1Slide the [TAPE/CARD] Selector towards [CARD].

2Slide the [PICTURE/MPEG4/VOICE] Selector Switch to [VOICE].

3Press the Recording Start/Stop Button.

During recording the [ ] Indication 4 is lit in red. Recording is not possible while the [ACCESS] Indication is lit.

Selecting the quality of Card Photoshot images (excluding Voice Recording)

1Set [CAMERA FUNCTIONS] or [VCR FUNCTIONS] >> [CARD SETUP] >> [PICTURE QUALITY] >> a desired image quality.

When the size of pictures is [1200t900]

FINE:

approx. 9 pictures

NORMAL:
