Using the USB Connection Kit

Using the supplied USB Connection Kit, you can import still pictures on the card into your personal computer.

1Install the supplied USB driver.

2Set the Movie Camera to Card Playback Mode.

3Set the Movie Camera to Still Playback Mode.

4Connect the supplied USB Cable to [DIGITAL (to USB)] 1 Socket

It enters PC connection mode.

The USB Connection Kit can be used with Windows98 Second Edition/Me/ 2000.

Use the AC Adaptor as power source for the Movie Camera. (The Card or its contents may be destroyed if battery power is lost while transmitting data.)

Mode cannot be changed in PC connection mode by sliding the [OFF/ON/ MODE] Selector Switch.

Personal Computer Connection Kit

Using the optional Personal Computer Connection Kit, you can import still pictures into your personal computer.

Use the Digital Still Picture Terminal [D.STILL PICTURE] 1 when using the Personal Computer Connection Kit.

When recording, be careful not to cut off the Time Code from the start of the tape.

Mega-Pixel picture cannot be imported. The picture size is [640a480]. MPEG4 data or Voice data cannot be used.
