Connections and DIP Switch Settings

The illustrations below show typical network interconnections for both stereo and surround sound use.

Networking interconnections and DIP switch settings for stereo use

Networking interconnections and DIP switch settings for surround use

At least one LSR4300 monitor in a networked system must have its LEFT DIP switch set to ON.

When using only a single speaker, set the LEFT DIP switch to ON, regardless of the speaker’s physical position in the room.

If required, LSR4300 monitors can be used without being networked together (i.e., without any CAT5 cable interconnections). In this case, the LEFT DIP switch in every speaker must be set to the ON position and all other DIP switches in every speaker must be in the OFF position.
