Moving several tracks at a time
Use the following procedure to select up to 32 tracks you want to move in the desired sequence and move them together. The track numbers are adjusted automatically.

1Select the MD input and load a prerecorded MD.
If the MD is already playing, press the 7STOP key to stop playback.
2Press the TRACK EDIT key repeat- edly until " 3Q. MOVE?" is dis- played, then press the SET key.

3Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly to select one of the track numbers to be moved, then press the SET key.
Select other track numbers in the de- sired sequence by repeating this step for each track.

If you commit a mistake, press the CLEAR/DELETE key to clear the track number and restart selection.
4After selecting the desired tracks in the desired sequence, press the ENTER key.
5Press the 4or ¢key repeat- edly to select the move destina- tion position where you want to insert the moved tracks, then press the SET key.

6Press the ENTER key.
7Press the 0EJECT key on the main unit to eject the MD.
"MD WRITING" is displayed.
To cancel the Q. MOVE operation in the mid- dle :
Press the TRACK EDIT key any time before the end of step 5.
Editing can be canceled provided that it is attempted before "MD WRITING" is dis- played. For the procedure, see "Canceling editing" (page 53).
÷Be careful not to turn power off or apply shock or vibrations to the system while "MD WRITING" is displayed.
