Program timer (PROG.1, PROG.2)

The program timer can store the timer oper- ating hours and its contents so the timer operation can be activated or deactivated as required any time. The program timer can be activated on any time.

Timer playback using program timer

Use the following procedure to play the se- lected source at the selected time period.

1Make preparations according to

the source to be played.

Load a CD.

MD

Load an MD.

Tape

:

Load a cassette tape.

Radio :

Preset stations (Page 8).

AUX component : Make the required preparation for playback by connect- ing an AUX component.

Be also sure to set the timer for the AUX source component connected to the AUX IN jacks.

2Press the MENU key.

3Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob so that "TIMER SET?" is displayed, then press the SET key.

4Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob so that "PROG.1 SET?" or "PROG.2 SET?" is displayed, then press the SET key.

5Select the time to start timer play- back (ON time).

Rotate the VOLUME/MULTI-CON- TROL knob to select the figure of hour, then press the SET key.
