Traffic Announcement (TA)

Some RDS FM stations periodically provide traffic information. Traffic programs can be received auto-

matically.

[Default: TA off]

Seek tuning and auto preset memory

Seek tuning and auto preset memory work only for TP stations when TA mode is on.

TA Volume

The TA volume can be adjusted to a level different from the regular volume. (a page 40)

Muting in TA Mode

To listen only to traffic announcement while muting. qAdjust the TA volume. (a page 40)

wSet the regular volume level to 0. (a page 32)

TA Stand By

Even when the CD changer, the VTR1 or VTR2 mode is selected, FM traffic announcements will interrupt them.

(If [TA] is pressed in the CD changer, the VTR1 or VTR2 mode when TA is off, traffic announcements will similarly interrupt.)
