CD Changer Basics

¡An optional changer (CX-DP88N, for example) must be connected.

¡Use of the optional Dual CD Changer Control Unit (CA-CD55EN) allows you to con- nect two CD changers (dual changers). (a page 60)

¡When the unit is connected with a CD text recognizable CD changer (CX-DP9061EN, for example), CD text can appear on the display.

Starting the CD Changer

Once the CD changer has been connected, press [MODE] to change to the CD changer mode as follows.

¡The CH C mode is not available if no changer is connected.

¡If no disc is in the magazine, “NO DISC” appears.

¡If the magazine is inserted while power is on, the CHC mode is automatically selected to start playing.

¡If the navigation mode is ON, only

the audio signal is switched while the video signal remains as it is.

¡The mode can be changed even when the display unit is in the retracted position.

Title Display

Track title or disc title appears on the display only when the unit is connected to a CD changer that can recognize CD text (CX- DP9061EN, for example).

Press [3](TITLE) to switch the display between disc title and track title. (Only for remote control)

Notes:

¡“NO TITLE” appears on the display if a disc, which does not support the text display, has been loaded.

¡Up to 12 characters can be displayed at a time.

¡If the text has more than 12 characters, it is shown with up to 48 characters just once by scrolling, then the first 12 characters are kept displayed.
