Automatic Sound
(only Casablanca CD52)
This function adjusts the volume of your car radio automatically to your driving speed. This requires your device to be connected as described in the installa- tion guide.
The automatic volume booster can be set in six stages
➮Press the MENU button 8.
➮Press the 
button : until “AUTO SOUND”appears in the display.
➮Set the volume adjustment with the
buttons :.
➮When the setting process is com- plete, press the MENU button 8 or OK ;.

Radio mode
This unit is equipped with an RDS radio receiver. Many of the receivable FM sta- tions transmit a signal that not only car- ries the programme but also additional information such as the station name and programme type (PTY).
The station name appears in the dis- play as soon as the radio is able to re- ceive it and the RDS function is activat- ed. You can optionally display the pro- gramme type. For further details, please read the section entitled “Programme type (PTY)”.
Setting the tuner
To ensure that the tuner works proper- ly, the device must be configured for your region. You can choose between Europe (EUROPE) and the USA (N AMERICA). By default, the tuner is set to the region in which the device was sold. If you experience problems with radio reception, please check this set- ting.
These operating instructions refer to the “N AMERICA”setting.
