Traffic information

CD mode

You can adjust the sound settings and volume distribution settings for traffic announcements. For further information, please read the “Sound” chapter.

CD mode

You can use this device to play standard au- dio CDs, CD-Rs and CD-RWs with a diame- ter of 12 cm. To avoid problems when play- ing CDs, you should not burn CDs at speeds

greater than 16-speed.

To ensure proper functioning, use only CDs

 

with the Compact-Disc logo. Copy-pro-

 

tected CDs can cause playback problems.

 

Blaupunkt cannot guarantee the proper

 

functioning of copy-protected CDs!

 

Besides being able to play audio CDs on

 

this device, you can also play CDs contain-

 

ing MP3 music files. For further informa-

 

tion, please read the chapter entitled “MP3

 

mode”.

 

 

 

 

Risk of severe damage to the CD

 

drive!

 

CD singles with a diameter of 8 cm and non-

 

circular contoured CDs (shape CDs) must

 

not be used.

 

We accept no responsibility for any damage

 

to the CD drive that may occur as a result of

 

the use of unsuitable CDs.

 

 

 

 

Switching to CD mode

If there is no CD inserted in the drive,

￿switch on the device by pressing but- ton 1.

￿ Press the button 2. The control panel opens.

￿Gently insert the CD with its printed side uppermost into the drive until you feel some resistance.

The drive draws in the CD automatically.
