Selecting the waveband

With your car radio you can select between the following wavebands:

FM 87.5 – 108 MHz

MW 531 – 1602 kHz, and LW 153 – 279 kHz

Select the desired waveband by pres- sing the FMT or M•L button.

To switch between MW and LW:

press M•L.

Automatic seek tuning /

Press /. The radio will automatically tune into the following station.

If you keep the upper or lower part of the rocker switch / depressed, seek tuning speeds up in upwards or downwards direc- tion.

(prerequisite: AF is switched off!)

Press << or >> to change the frequen- cy in small steps in upwards/down- wards direction.

Hold down the right or left part of the rocker switch to speed up this procedure.

Adjusting the seek tuning sensi- tivity

The set allows you to modify the seek tuning sensitivity.

If “lo” is indicated, the radio will only pick up strong stations (low sensitivity).

If “lo” is deactivated, the radio will also pick up less powerful stations (higher sensitivity). The degree of sensitivity can be separately adjusted for both levels (see chapter “DSC programming”).

Stereo - mono switch (FM)

You can switch to mono when the reception quality becomes poor:

Press lo for approximately 2 seconds. During mono reception the stereo symbol in the display will go out.

Each time the car radio is switched on, the radio will be automatically set to stereo re- ception.

It will automatically switch to mono when the reception quality becomes poor.

Changing the memory bank (FM)

You can shift between the memory banks I, II, and T to store and recall preset stations. The selected memory bank is indicated in the display.

Press FMT until the desired memory bank lights up in the display (press re- peatedly if necessary).

Storing stations

Using the preset buttons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 you can store six stations on each FM memory bank (I, II, T).

In the MW/LW range you can store six stati- ons each.

Press the FMT or M•L button to select the waveband.

Use the rocker switch to tune to a stati- on (either automatically / or manu- ally << >>).

Press the desired preset button and hold it down. The radio will be muted and will resume play after approximate- ly 2 seconds.
