Switching trafÞc information priority on/off
Press the TRAF button 3.
The priority for traffic announcements is ac- tivated if the display shows the traffic jam symbol.
Notes:
You will hear a warning beep:
•If you leave the reception area of a traffic information station that you are currently listening to.
•If you leave the reception area of a traffic information station that the system is tuned into while you are in the CD or CD changer mode, and the subsequent automatic seek tuning cannot find a new traffic information station.
•If you retune the radio from a traffic in- formation station to a station that does not broadcast traffic information.
If you hear the warning beep, you can ei- ther switch off traffic information priority or tune into a station that broadcasts traffic information.
Setting the volume for trafÞc announcements
Press the MENU¥OK button 5.

•Using the volume control 7, you can also adjust the volume during a traf- fic announcement for the duration of that announcement.
•During traffic reports, you can adjust the sound settings and volume distri- bution settings for traffic announce- ments. For further information, please read the "Sound" chapter.
