DSA MAX EQUALIZER

Displaying the clock time continuously

You can make the system display the clock time when the device is off and the vehicle ignition is on.

Press the MENU button 9.

Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “CLOCK” display item.

Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “OFFCLOCK” display item.

“SHOW CLOCK” means that the clock time will be displayed; “HIDE CLOCK” means it will not be displayed.

DSA Max - Digital Sound Adjustment

This device is equipped with a digital sound calibration feature (DSA - Digital Sound Adjustment).

It provides you with three self-calibrat- ing user equalizers (EQ1, EQ2 and EQ3). Each user equalizer consists of a 27-band graphic equalizer.

Each user equalizer has four channels (front right/left and rear right/left) at its disposal. The EQ1 - EQ3 equalizers can be calibrated automatically with the help of the calibration microphone (included). You can also manually adjust the auto- matically ascertained values of the graphic equalizer.

In addition, you can also optimise the sound using a dynamic vehicle noise cover-up feature (DNC), various presets for different music styles (Preset EQ), stage effects and sound effects.

Switching DSA off

To switch off the entire equalizer,

press and hold down the AUDIO button : for longer than two sec- onds.

The DSA menu appears in the display.

Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “OFF” display item.

“DSA OFF” appears in the display.
