EXTERNAL AUDIO SOURCES

External audio sources

You can connect up to two external au- dio sources to the device. Audio sourc- es can, for example, be portable CD players, MiniDisc players or MP3 play- ers.

You can connect the first external au- dio source (AUX1) instead of a CD changer.

You can connect the second external audio source (AUX2) in addition to the CD changer or AUX1.

By pressing the “AUX1” softkey you can switch between the “AUX- ILIARY 1 ON” and “AUXILIARY 1 OFF” settings.

Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “NAV/AUX2” display item if no navigation system is connected and you want to connect an exter- nal audio source. By pressing the “NAV/AUX2” softkey you can switch between the “AUXILIARY 2 ON” and “NAVIGATION ON” set- tings.

Naming the AUX input

You can give each AUX input a name so you can recognise them more easily when selecting them using the SOURCE button <(e.g. you can give them the device names that they are connected to).

Press the MENU button 9.
