EXTERNAL AUDIO SOURCES
External audio sources
You can connect up to two external au- dio sources to the device. Audio sourc- es can, for example, be portable CD players, MiniDisc players or MP3 play- ers.
You can connect the first external au- dio source (AUX1) instead of a CD changer.
You can connect the second external audio source (AUX2) in addition to the CD changer or AUX1.
By pressing the “AUX1” softkey you can switch between the “AUX- ILIARY 1 ON” and “AUXILIARY 1 OFF” settings.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “NAV/AUX2” display item if no navigation system is connected and you want to connect an exter- nal audio source. By pressing the “NAV/AUX2” softkey you can switch between the “AUXILIARY 2 ON” and “NAVIGATION ON” set- tings.

In order to be able to use the AUX in- puts, you must activate them in the set- up menu.
If you want to connect an external au- dio source, you will need an adapter cable. You can obtain this cable from a Blaupunkt dealer.

Switching the AUX input on/off
➮Press the MENU button 9.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “AUX” display item.
The AUX menu is displayed.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “AUX1” display item if no CD changer is connected and you want to connect an external audio source.
Naming the AUX input
You can give each AUX input a name so you can recognise them more easily when selecting them using the SOURCE button <(e.g. you can give them the device names that they are connected to).
➮Press the MENU button 9.
➮Press the softkey 5 assigned to the “AUX” display item.
