Turning on the power

1 Turn on the power.

“HELLO” appears on the

display.

Note on One-Touch Operation:

When you select a source in step 2 below, the power automatically comes on. You do not have to press this button to turn on the power.

2 Select the source.

To select the FM or AM tuner, press FM AM

Adjust the volume.

To select TAPE, or CD changer (or “LINE IN”),

press TAPE CD-CH repeatedly.

To drop the volume in a moment

Press briefly while listening to any source. “ATT” starts flashing on the display, and

To resume the previous volume level, press the

(or LINE IN)**

*Without connecting to the CD changer, you cannot select the CD changer as the source.

**If “LINE IN” does not appear on the display, see page 27 and select the external input (“LINE IN”).

Press and hold until “SEE YOU” appears on the display.
