Setting Parental Lock for Mature content

Your can turn on/off Parental Lock for the adult channel.

1Select the SiriusXM Radio source Press the [SRC] button.

Select the “SiriusXM” display.

2Enter the Function setting mode Press and hold the Control knob.

3Select the Parental Lock item

Select the following items using the Control

knob. 

“Settings” > “Parental Lock”

4Enter the pass code

Operation type

Push the Control knob rightward or leftward.

Deletion of all numbers

Push and hold the Control knob leftward.

The pass code is set to “0000” as default.

5Select the Mature channel setting item Turn the Control knob to select “Mature Set, and then press the Control knob.

6Turn on the Mature setting

Turn the Control knob to select “ON” and then press the Control knob.

Selecting “OFF” and pressing the Control knob will turn off the Mature setting.

7Exit the Function setting mode Press and hold the [  ] button.

If a Mature channel is selected with the Mature setting turned on, the pass code input screen appears. Programs on the selected channel can be received only when the pass code is correct.

Parental Lock pass code setting

You can set a new pass code for Parental Lock setting.

1Select the SiriusXM Radio source Press the [SRC] button.

Select the “SiriusXM” display.

2Enter the Function setting mode Press and hold the Control knob.

3Select the Parental Lock item

Select the following items using the Control

knob. 

“Settings” > “Parental Lock”

4Enter the pass code

5Select the Pass code set item

Turn the Control knob to select “Passcode Set”, and then press the Control knob.

“Enter new code” is displayed.

6Enter a new pass code (first time)

Enter a new pass code in the same manner as in step 4.

7Enter the new pass code again (second time) Enter the same pass code as that entered in step 6.

The old pass code is changed to the new one and “Completed” is displayed.

8Exit the Function setting mode Press and hold the [  ] button.

Content alert

When the broadcast of the song by the registered artist or the broadcast of the registered song starts, a message appears to allow you to switch the current source to the desired channel, even though the receiving source is other than SIriusXM Radio.

Registering content

1Receive the content you wish to register

2Select the Content registration mode Push the Control knob upward.

3Register the content

Turn the Control knob to select a content type (“Store Artist?” or “Store Song?”), and then press the Control knob.

“Artist Stored” or “Song Stored” is displayed.

You can register a total of 50 types of content including both artists and songs.

When a Content alert occurs

1A content alert message is displayed When multiple content alerts occur, a content name is displayed one after another. The previous content name can be displayed and selected by the operation in step 3.

A content alert message is displayed for five seconds from the last content alert.

The following switching operation to your desired content can be performed while the message is being displayed.

2Start selecting a content Press the Control knob.

3Select your desired content of which content alerts are occurring

Turn the Control knob to select the content, and then press the Control knob.

The current source switches to the channel that is broadcasting the selected content.

The Content alert message is not displayed, when operating in various modes: Bluetooth mode (<Operation for hands- free phoning> (page 44)), Audio Control mode (<Audio control> (page 8)), Function setting mode (<Function setting procedure> (page 1)), etc.

A Content alert occurred can be selected from ”My Music” category <Category and channel search> (page 61).

Canceling Content alert mode Press the [  ] button.
