6. INSTALLING THE PAV-8000D SYSTEM

Before installing the PAV-8000D verify that the Radio antenna and speakers are operational and areperform ing well. Disconnect power supply cable from the connecting terminal of the vehiclesBattery.

CAUTION: When disconnecting the Battery Negative (-) Connecting Terminal, vehicles equipped with cruise equipment or a satellite navigator will lose all preset memory.

6.1. Front Panel Installation

6.1.1.Cautions During Installation

If possible, have qualified personnel install the PAV-8000D system.

The PAV-8000D system is intended for installation in vehicles with DC 12V Negative Ground battery systems.

Make all electrical/electronic connect ions as directed in this manual. Incorrect connection may damage the equipment and will void the warranty. Carefully read the Instruction Manual and Installation Specification before installation.

6.3. System Installation

6.3.1Installation Procedure

1.Install the Mounting Bracket (1) by inserting the Bracket into dashboard and bend the mounting tabs outwards with a screwdriver so that the bracket is tight.
