Have these things ready before you call to activate your wireless service

Your phone (Make sure it’s fully charged)

Your Social Security number

Your driver’s license number

Your Electronic Serial Number

You’ll only need your Electronic Serial Number if you’re calling Customer Service to set up service from a phone other than your new phone.

The Electronic Serial Number, or ESN, is an 11-digit number written on the barcode sticker attached to your phone.

To find your phone’s ESN, turn the phone off and remove the battery. After you write down the ESN, replace the battery and turn your phone back on by

pressing the key.
