20.Shortcuts

Here are some of the available keyboard shortcuts in your device. Shortcuts can make the use of the applications more efficient. Some shortcuts are application-specific and they are not available for all applications.

General shortcuts

Power key

Menu key

End key

E-mail key

Active standby mode

Switch between profiles. Press and hold to switch your device on and off.

Open the main menu screen for access to all applications. Press and hold to switch between open applications.

Close applications. Press and hold to end data connections (GPRS, data call).

Open your default e-mail box. Press and hold to begin composing a new e-mail.

In applications

Lock and unlock the keypad.

Press and hold to switch between the general and silent profiles.

Open the Log.

Press and hold to open Services and connect to the Web.

Press and hold to call your voice mailbox.

Call a phone number using speed dialing. You must first activate speed dialing (Menu > Tools > Settings > Call > Speed dialling > On).

Activate infrared.

Activate and deactivate Bluetooth.

Shift + scroll key

 

 

Select text. Press and hold the shift key and scroll left or right to select
