Replace the back cover: align the catches (3) together, and slide the cover (4) forward.

Charge the battery

1.Plug the charger transformer into a standard ac outlet.

2.Open the rubber cover located at the top of the phone. Connect the charger plug into the connector in the device.

The battery indicator bar starts scrolling. When the battery is fully charged, the bar stops scrolling.

3.Disconnect the charger from the device and the ac outlet.

Switch on or off

Warning: Do not switch the device on when wireless phone use is prohibited, or when it may cause interference or danger.

The on-off function for this device is combined with the end key. To switch the device on or off, press and hold the end key. When you switch off the device, the profiles list is displayed before the device switches off.

When you switch the device on, it may request a lock code. Enter the code and select OK. The preset lock code is 12345. For information about device codes, see “Security settings”, p. 21.

Make a call

Use the keypad

Open the device, and enter the phone number, including the area code.

To delete a character to the left of the cursor, select Clear.

Press the call key. Press the volume keys to adjust the volume during the call.

Press the end key, or close the fold to end the call or to cancel the call attempt.
