turn the phone lock Off. When the phone is locked, calls still may be possible to the official emergency number programmed into your phone.

Allowed number when phone is locked—Let you dial specific numbers when the device is locked. You can store up to three allowed phone numbers. To enter a number,

press Select, highlight an empty number slot, and select Assign. To edit an existing number, press Select, highlight the number and select Options.

Change lock code—Let you change the lock code. To select Change lock code, enter the lock code, and press OK.

Enter your new lock code

(5 characters), and press OK. Enter the new lock code again for verification, and press OK.

Voice privacy—Let you protect the privacy of your current phone conversation from other callers placing phone calls on your network. Select On or Off.

Network settings

You can set your device to roam or search for another network when you are not in your home area. Your device is set to search for the most cost- effective network. These options are network operator dependent and may differ from those described.

In standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Network settings > Network. Select Home only to make and receive calls in your home area only, or Automatic to search for service in another digital network.

The roaming rate applies when not in the home service area. Press OK, if necessary, to confirm the activation.

Network feature setting

Store a feature code

Feature codes can be set for Call divert, and Send my caller ID with next call network services.

1.In standby mode, select Menu > Settings > Network settings > Network feature setting and an option.

2.Select an option within that service. For example, Call divert > Divert all voice calls > Activate.

3.At the Feature code: prompt, enter the appropriate feature code (5 characters or less).

You can enter other feature codes, or press the end key to return to standby mode. When you enter a network feature code, the feature is visible in the Call settings menu.
