WAP Browser

Using Bookmarks

Frequently accessed pages may be bookmarked to save time. This prevents the need to re-enter the URL each time.

Adding a Bookmark

While viewing content press A a BB to register a bookmark

Recalling Pages Using Bookmarks

1With content displayed press A a B

2Use e to select the relevant bookmark from the list, and press B

Renaming a Bookmark

1With content displayed press A a B

2Use e to select the relevant bookmark from the list, and press A B

3Press and hold C to remove the bookmark name, then re-type the name required and press B

Deleting Bookmarks

1With content displayed press A a B

2Use eto select the relevant bookmark from the list, and press A a BB

Deactivating the Browser

The Browser can be deactivated as follows:

When browsing on-line press E once to resume browsing off-line When browsing off-line press E once to exit Browser

When browsing on-line or off-line press and hold C to exit Browser

Setting the Linger Time

The phone will be automatically disconnected from the WAP server after a set period of non-interaction. This period is defined in seconds by the Linger Time setting.

1From Idle mode press B 421 to enter the Linger Time menu

2Press and hold C to remove the current linger time, then re-enter the value required and press B

Last Error

If an error should occur when using the Browser, use this function to inform the network operator of the last error which occurred with the phone to assist with a diagnosis of the problem.

From Idle mode press B 422 to display the error
