Setting the Time

To manually set your phone’s clock:

1Select Set Time. Your phone displays the current Time setting, with the hour field highlighted.

2Press qZto scroll to the correct hour setting, and press Ato select it.

3Press qZto scroll to the correct minute setting, and press Ato select it.

4Press qZto scroll to the correct am/pm setting, and press Ato select it and exit the time setting display.

5Press Eto exit, or scroll to other features.

Setting the Date

To manually set your phone’s date:

1Select Set Date. Your phone displays the current Date setting, with the first field highlighted.

2Press qZto scroll to the correct date setting, and press Ato select it. Repeat this step for the next two fields.

3Press Eto exit, or scroll to other features.

Changing Your Date Format

Your phone can display dates in a day/month/year format or in a month/day/year format. To select your desired format:

1Select Set Date Format.

2Press qZto scroll to the sample date format you want, and press Ato select it.

3Press E to exit, or scroll to other features.

Changing Your Time Format

Your phone can display time in a 12-hour or 24-hour format. To select your time format:

1Select Set Time Format.

2Press qZto scroll to 12-hour or 24-hour format, and press A to select it.

3Press E to exit, or scroll to other features.

Turning Autoupdate On and Off

When you activate the Autoupdate feature, your phone updates its time and date from the network each time you turn the phone on.

1Select Autoupdate.

2Press Ato toggle Autoupdate on and off.

3Press E to exit, or scroll to other features.

AIf you turn Autoupdate off, you must set your phone’s clock and date manually. (See “Setting the Time” and “Setting the Date” on page 37).

AAutoupdate is an optional network- and subscription- dependent feature that is not available in all areas.
