Text Messaging

To save time having to write a message more then once, you can send a text message to several people at the same time.

1When you have finished writing your text message, press OK and select One Time Entry.

2Press PH.BOOK.

3Select Add for each of the contacts names who you want to send the message to.

4Press DONE.

Note: The cost to send a text message depends on your Service Plan and you are charged for each person the message is sent to.

to read a text message

1When you receive a text message, 1 New Message From and the caller’s number is shown in the display.

2Press READ to read the message or press EXIT to view it later.

3To delete the message, press while in the message, and select Delete.

4To read messages that have been sent, scroll right and your Messages menu will open. Select Message Inbox.

To create and send an email:

1In the Home screen, scroll right to open Messages.

2Scroll to and select Email Msgs.

3Scroll to Email Msgs and press SELECT.

4The email message setup screen will show. Press SETUP.

5If you already have an Orange email account you can access it from your phone.

6Enter your Orange user ID and password at the appropriate place in the email message setup. Enter your Orange email address in the Return address slot. All other settings are correct for an Orange email account. If you don’t have an Orange email account, you can get one at www.orange.co.uk

7When your setup is complete, press DONE and select New Message, followed by New Email.

8The cursor will be flashing ready for you to enter your message using predictive text.

To delete a single character, press

DELETE.

To delete the entire message, press and hold DELETE.

Press * for a space.

Press 1 to choose from a selection of common symbols and punctuation marks.

Press and hold 0 to change from upper to lower-case.

9When your message is complete, select OK and choose to send it to a new contact or one in your phonebook. A tick will appear next to the name and then you can press DONE and SEND to send your message.

To read a new email message, press READ and your message will appear on your display.
