When the QUARTZ LOCK (25) is activated, the QUARTZ LOCK LED (24) lights GREEN, and the speed will be exactly 33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm depending on which speed has been selected regardless of the position of the pitch control. PITCH CONTROL (23) automatically disengages when the QUARTZ LOCK (25) is activated.
2.When the QUARTZ LOCK (25) is off, you can adjust the PITCH CONTROL (23). When you move the PITCH CONTROL (23) off center, the tempo can vary +/- 4%, +/- 8%, +/- 16% or +/- 35%, depending on which RANGE BUTTON (31) you select. These are lighted buttons and will light up when pressed.
*Note: If your speed is 33 1/3 rpm and you adjust the tempo to +35% your speed will be exactly 45 rpm. Conversely, if your speed is 45 rpm and you adjust the tempo to -35% your speed will be exactly 33 1/3 rpm.
