TROUBLESHOOTING

If the power does not come on or stay on:

Make sure the battery is properly installed and charged.

Be sure that the contacts on the battery and the charging stand are clean. If they are not, clean them with a soft cloth or pencil eraser.

The battery charge might be too low for opera- tion. Check the display and listen for the low battery warning tone.

If the power comes on, but the phone does not work:

Make sure that the antenna is properly in- stalled and, if your phone has an extendable antenna, make sure that the antenna is ex- tended to its full length.

Check to see if there is an error message on the display after turning it on. If so, contact your local RadioShack store for assistance.
