Speed dialling number

Digit keys 1 to 9 can be used as speed dialling numbers for fast access.

Edit

In standby mode:

2Press digit key (e.g. 2).

Calendar Press.

Edit Press and scroll to the application in the list.

or if the key is not assigned:

Set Press.

•Assign the new application (e.g. Games) to the key.

•Special case phone number. In the SIM memory, scroll to a name for assignment to the key.

Select Confirm setting.

Apply

Select a stored phone number or start a stored application (e.g. Java).

In standby mode:

8Press.

The assignment of the 8 is displayed instead of the right soft key, e.g.:

Games Press briefly.

OK Start application.

or for a function with a phone number:

8, then A.

or: (application and phone number)

8Hold down.

Quick menu selection

The menu functions are numbered in the sequence of their occurrence.

Enter the appropriate sequence of numbers to select a function directly.

For example, to compose a new SMS message:

Menu Press.

3For Messages.

1For SMS.

1For Write message.

The numbering may change if your service provider has integrated additional functions into the menu system.
