During a Call

Changing the Volume

You can set the handset volume while a call is in progress. There are

five volume settings.

-Press to change the volume.

Time/Units ,

The call duration or the units are dis- played during and after a call (¼ p. 27).

Call Waiting

,

If someone calls you while you are on a call, you will hear a Call Waiting signal.

If may be necessary to apply to your service provider to have this function enable. To activate/deactivate Call Waiting or to check the status of the function (¼ p. 37).

Answering Calls

=Press.

The first call is placed on hold and the new call is answered. You can now toggle back and forth between the two calls (swap).

Rejecting Calls

You can reject a new call:

If you have activated Divert to the mail- box, then the call is diverted.

Conducting

a Second Call

 

You are on a call and make a call to a second subscriber.

IEnter the number.

or

[Menu] Press and select entry from Phonebook.

=Press. The connection is set up.

In both cases the current call is put on hold and the new call is set up. You can swap between the two calls.

Ending a Connection

[OK] Confirm the prompt. You re- turn to the call on hold.
