When the Location feature is on, your phone’s standby screen will display the icon. When Location is turned off, the icon will display.

Phone Setup Options

Call Answer Mode

To set the actions required to answer an incoming call:

1.From the main menu, highlight Settings and press OK.

2.Highlight Setup and press OK.

3.Highlight Any key Answer and press OK.

4.Highlight On or Off and press OK.

_ On allows you to answer incoming calls by opening the phone or by pressing any key. _ Off requires you to press to answer all incoming calls.

Auto-Answer Mode

To answer calls when your phone is connected to an optional hands-free car kit:

1.From the main menu, highlight Settings and press OK.

2.Highlight Setup and press OK.

3.Highlight Car Auto-Answerand press OK .

4.To select an option, highlight it and press OK.

_ Off to answer calls normally when connected to a hands-free car kit.

_ Auto Answer to have the phone answer calls automatically after three rings when connected to a hands-free car kit. Remember, your phone will answer all incoming calls in Auto Answer mode – even if you are not present.

By using the security setting on your STi Mobile phone, you receive peace of mind without sacrificing flexibility. With several options available, you can customize your phone to meet your personal needs.

Accessing the Security Menu

You must enter your lock code to view the Security menu.

To access the Security menu:

1.From the main menu, highlight Settings and press OK.

2.Highlight Security and press OK.

3.Enter your lock code. The Security menu is displayed.

Tip: If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four digits of either your Social Security number or STi Mobile phone Number or try 0000. If none of these work, call STi Mobile Customer Care at 1-800-784-3277.

Locking Your Phone

When your phone is locked, you can only receive incoming calls or make calls to 911, STi Mobile Customer Care, or special numbers.

To lock your phone:

1.From the Security menu, highlight Lock Phone and press OK. (See “Accessing the Security Menu” on this page.)

2.Highlight Lock Now and press OK. A message will confirm that the phone is locked. When the phone returns to standby mode, --Locked--will appear on the display.
