Microphone

Key Functions

1.Display Screen: Displays phone status icons and menu items.

2.Headset Jack: Provides connection for an optional headset.

3.Volume Button: Adjust the ringer volume during standby mode or voice volume during a call.

4.OK Button: Lets you place or answer a call, select highlighted menu items, and confirm actions.

5.AC Adapter Jack: Provides connection for the AC adapter charger.

6.Power On Indicator/LED: Flashes when phone is powering up. Also flashes to alert you of incoming calls, messages, and scheduler alarms.

7.Navigation Key: Scrolls through menus and displays the next or previous menu option. Also acts as a shortcut key for your internal phone book (left) and voicemail box (right).

8.End Button (Power): Lets you power the phone on or off, end calls, or return to standby mode from any screen.

9.Back Button (Clear): Lets you clear an entry or back up within a menu.

10.Microphone: May be muted for privacy during a call.

Viewing the Display Screen

This list identifies the symbols you’ll see on your display screen.

_ shows your current signal strength. The more lines you have, the stronger your signal. _ means your phone cannot find a signal.

_ tells you a call is in progress.

_ indicates you are “roaming” off the enhanced STi Mobile Coverage Area.
