Incoming calls and messages

PTT calls are not interrupted by incoming standard voice calls or text messages. If your phone receives a standard voice call or text message while you are on a PTT call, the following occurs:

Standard voice calls are sent directly to voicemail. If the caller leaves a voice message, appears at the top of the phone screen.

PTT calls are not accepted. Callers receive a “busy” message.

Text messages are saved to the InBox. appears at the top of the phone screen.

These icons may appear on your phone’s screen as you place or receive a PTT call.

Preventing PTT calls

You can disable the PTT feature on your phone so that it will not be able to receive or send PTT calls or alerts.

To disable the PTT feature:

1.Select Menu Settings Push to Talk Disabled.

2.Press to confirm. “Push to Talk disabled” appears on the screen, and the phone returns to the Settings menu.

To enable the PTT feature:

1.Select Menu Settings Push to Talk Enabled.

2.Press to confirm. “Push to Talk enabled” appears on the screen, and the phone returns to the Settings menu.
