Setup Wizard Screen

Click Run Wizard for a simple, step-by-step configuration of your IP8100 series telephone settings. It is usually not necessary to do this after initial setup is complete.

To re-run the Wizard to update settings, please see the Setup Wizard section on page 12.

ISP Connection Settings Screen

Use this screen to view or change the Internet connection type required by your Internet Service Providers. Please check with your Internet Service Provider for the required configuration settings.

ISP Connection Settings: Dynamic IP Address

This setting is usually required for use with cable modems. Choose this setting if you don’t have to enter a username/password to access the Internet when you first turn on your computer. With this option, IP addresses are assigned by your ISP automatically.
