To Light

DANGER

EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD

Propane is heavier than air and can accumulate in low places. If you smell gas, leave the area immediately.

Always attach or detach propane source outdoors; never while lantern is light- ed, near flame, pilot lights, other ignition sources or while lantern is hot to touch.

Always light & use lantern outdoors.

This lantern must not be exposed to flammable vapors or liquids during lighting.

This lantern is red hot during use and can ignite flammables too close to the mantles. Keep flammables at least 12 inches from the sides and 48 inches from the top of the lantern. Keep gasoline and other flammable liquids and vapors well away from lantern.

Always light and use lantern outdoors; never in house, camper, tent or other unventilated or enclosed areas.

INSTAStart

Electronic Ignition

Turn fuel valve full on. The valve should click and a spark should jump between the elec- trode and lower mantle support and ignite the mantle.

NOTE: If lantern does not light, repeat above step after turning fuel valve completely off. If the lantern is wet due to rain, high humidity, etc., the valve may not spark. Use match lighting procedure as follows.

Match Lighting

Push lighted match through lighting hole, hold near mantle and open fuel valve fully.

Brightness may be adjusted with fuel valve.

WARNING

BURN HAZARD

Never leave lantern unattended when hot or in use.

Keep out of reach of children.
