HOW TO OPERATE THE PERSONAL TELEVISION

IMPORTANT: Before operating the television, you must connect an antenna, a 75 ohm CATV cable, or a VCR to the 75 ohm antenna terminal on the tread- mill. See page 11 for instructions.

Follow the steps below to operate the television.

1 Insert the key into the console.

See HOW TO TURN ON THE POWER on page 15.

Press the Power button to turn on the

2 television.

When the key is inserted, the television will auto- matically turn on. If you have turned off the televi- sion, turn it on by pressing the Power button.

Note: When the iFIT mode is selected, the televi- sion will automatically turn off so the audio of the iFIT.com program can be heard through the con- sole’s speakers. To use an iFIT video program, connect your VCR as described on page 26 and view the video of the iFIT program on an exter- nal television.

Press the Channel buttons to select the

3 desired channel.

When the television is turned on, the screen will show the last channel that was selected. To select

a different channel, press the Channel buttons. The selected channel number will appear on the screen for a few seconds. Note: The television is equipped with a channel memorizing function that allows you to go directly from the current channel to the next channel saved in memory. Before channels can be selected in this way, they must be saved in the television’s memory. See HOW TO USE THE INFORMATION MODE on page 30.

4 Press the Volume buttons to adjust the volume.

When either Volume button is pressed, the vol- ume level indicator will appear on the screen for a few seconds. Note: When the iFIT mode is se- lected, the Volume buttons will control the volume of the audio of the iFIT program.

To use earphones or headphones (not included), plug them into the headphone jack on the console.

When you are finished using the television,

5 press the Power button.

Press the Power button to turn off the television. Note: Removing the key from the console will also turn off the television.
