Singing Along (Karaoke)

You can enjoy singing along (Karaoke) by using the microphone.

IMPORTANT:

Always set the MIC VOL control to MIN when connecting or disconnecting the microphone.

When you do not use the microphone, keep the microphone unconnected.

If howling or squealing (feedback) occurs while using

the microphone, take the following actions to prevent these noises.

Adjust the MIC VOL and VOLUME controls (or VOLUME + / – on the remote control).

Avoid pointing the microphone towards the speakers.

1 Rotate the MIC VOL control to MIN.

2 Connect the microphone (not supplied) by plugging it into the MIC jack.

3 Start playing the source—disc, tape or external equipment connected to the AUX/MD jacks.

When playing a multiplex karaoke disc, you can select the audio channel to play back. (See page 46.)

4 Rotate the MIC VOL and VOLUME controls (or VOLUME + / – on the remote control) as you sing into the microphone.

By pressing REC, you can record your singing along if you want. (For more details, see pages 51 and 52.)
