Connecting the Video Out

Using the Video Cord

To play back pictures correctly on the TV screen, set the video output correctly according to your TV system before use.

Refer to “Setting Video Output” below.

VIDEO

OUT

Setting Video Output

Press the NTSC/PAL/PAL AUTO button on the Unit repeatedly until playback picture appears correctly

NTSC/PAL

on the TV screen.

/PAL AUTO

Each time you press the button, video output changes as follows:

=PAL = PAL AUTO = NTSC = (back to the beginning)

PAL .................... for a PAL exclusive TV.

PAL AUTO* ....... for a Multisystem TV.

NTSC ................. for an NTSC exclusive TV.

*PAL AUTO detects the formula of the disc (NTSC/PAL) automatically and views picture on the TV screen correctly.

Notes:

If you change video output setting during playback, picture may get distorted. In this case, stop playback and set video output setting correctly.

When you play an NTSC disc with PAL AUTO setting on a PAL exclusive TV, the picture may get distorted. If this happens, set video output to PAL.

When you play an NTSC disc with PAL AUTO setting on a Multisystem TV, the picture may blinks for a moment. This symptom is caused by the Unit detecting the formula of the disc, not by a malfunction of the Unit.

English

Now you can plug the AC power cord into the wall outlet, and your System is

at your command!
