If RINSE HOLD has been selected:

Following a rinse hold DOOR and END will illuminate in the programme progress display.

First the water must be drained:

Either turn the programme selector to OFF, then to DRAIN and press the START/PAUSE button (the water will be drained without spin- ning),

or turn the programme selector to OFF and then to SPIN. Depending on the type of washing, if required, reduce the spin speed and press the START/PAUSE button (the water will be drained and the washing spun).

Child safety device

If the child safety device has been activated, the door can no longer be shut.

Activating the child safety device: Use a coin to turn the knob (on the inside of the door) in a clockwise di- rection as far as it will go.

1 Warning! The knob must not be de- pressed after being set, otherwise the child safety device is not acti- vated. The knob must stand proud as shown in the illustration.

Deactivating the child safety device:

Turn the knob in an anti-clockwise direction as far as it will go.
