hot water or steam, take caution when you turn a steam iron upside down: there may be hot water in the tank.

Do not allow the supply cord to come into contact with hot surfaces. Let the iron cool down completely before transporting, moving or storage. Wrap the power supply cord around the iron when storing.

Always disconnect the main plug from wall socket before filing the iron with water or pouring the remaining water out.

To avoid an overloaded circuit, do not operate another high voltage appliance in the same electric circuit.

If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a

10-ampere (Europe) or 15 ampere (America) cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot be pulled or tripped over.

This iron is for household use only.

Do not operate the iron with wet hands.

Do not touch the plug or power supply cord with wet hands.

The iron should not be picked up or carried by the power supply cord.
