8. TROUBLESHOOTING

This product complies with current saf ety regulations gov erning electrical equipment. For saf ety reasons, all tech- nical inspections or repairs must be perf ormed by qualified technicians in order to prevent hazardous situations f or users.

If the machine does not work, bef ore calling the Serv ice Centre and spending money unnecessarily, check that

the operations indicated in this troubleshootingUtableU hav e been performed.

1 The machine does not start Check that:

- the plug is correctly f itted into the socket

2The tub does not fill with water

3No water appears to be in the drum

-the door is securely closed

-the “Start-Pause” button has been pressed. Check that:

-the plug is correctly f itted into the socket

-the door is securely closed

-the water tap is open

-the water inlet f ilters are not clogged. Clean them as indicated in paragraph 6.5.

-the water inlet tube is not jammed or bent

No f ault.

The water lev el is lower than the glass of the door because the new ma- chines use less water though obtaining the same washing and rinsing re- sults.

-no more than the quantities indicated in the manual are used

-the end of the drain hose has not moved out of place.

Make sure that the traps in the detergent tray are correctly positioned and are not clogged. Clean them as indicated in paragraph 6.4.
