Trouble Shooting
If you call out an engineer and the fault is listed here, a charge is levied even if the appliance is in guarantee.
Malfunction
Possible Cause |

Washing machine does not work.
The machine does not take in water.
Washing machine vibrates during opera- tion or is unstable.
Excessive foaming dur- ing the main wash.
Mains plug is not plugged in.
House fuse in defective.
Door is not closed properly.
Water tap is closed.
Filter in the threaded fitting on the water inlet hose is blocked.
The machine is not level.
There is only very little wash- ing in the machine (e.g. only a bath robe).
Water cannot be completely pumped out because the drain hose is kinked or the drain pump is blocked.
Probably too much detergent was used
Insert mains plug.
Replace fuse or reset.
Close door, lock must engage audibly
Open water tap.
Unscrew the hose from the tap, remove the Filter and clean under running water
Adjust the feet according to the installation and connec- tion instruction.
Does not impair function.
Check the drain hose and if necessary remove any kink or clean the drain pump and remove any foreign bodies from the pump housing.
It may be necessary to reduce the amount of deter- gent used. Follow the deter- gent manufacturer’s recommendations.
