Before calling for service, check to see whether the faults is due to something that you can put right yourself. See chapter 12, Trouble shoo- ting.

If you do require service, telephone your lo- cal MAYTAG retailer or the MAYTAG repre- sentative for your country. See guarantee card for address and telephone number.

BEFORE CONTACTING THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Before contacting the Service Department, make a note of the model designation, type designa- tion and serial number.

The model designation is on the detergent compartment. The type designation and the serial number are on the type plate located abo- ve the washer door.
