Mobile home =additional installation requirements
The installation of the Dryer in mobile homes must conform to the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standard Title 24 CFR, Part
A minimum of 72 in2 (183 cm 2)of unobstructed space is required.
All mobile home installations must be exhausted to the outside with the exhaust duct termination securely fastened to the
mobile home structure, using materials that will not support combustion.
The exhaust duct may not terminate underneath the mobile home.
See Exhausting section for more information.
IVlobile home installations require:
[] Metal exhaust system hardware, which is available for purchase from your local Sears store or Sears Service Center.
[] Special provisions must be made in mobile homes to introduce outside air into the dryer. The opening (such as a nearby window) should be at least twice as large as the dryer exhaust opening.
