PREWASH BUTTON

Select this option to add an additional wash phase to a normal wash cycle. A prewash icon will appear on the LCD screen to indicate that this option has been selected. During operation of the prewash phase, detergent will be flushed from the right side compartment of the dispenser and the prewash icon will blink. The icon will disappear following the completion of the phase.

NOTE: Powdered HE detergent must be used with the prewash option.

DELAY BUTTON

Select this option to delay the start of a wash cycle. Pressing the button will increase the delay time in increments of 30 minutes to a maximum of 24 hours. After reaching the maximum 24 hours, one more button presses will deselect this option. Otherwise a clock icon and the delay time will appear on the LCD screen. After selecting this option, you have to press the "Start/Pause" button to activate a delayed start. Once started, only the selected cycle and settings will be displayed in a steady state, the clock icon will blink, and the time display will count down in 1 minute increments.

NOTE: An activated delay start can be cancelled at any time by turning the cycle selector knob to "Power Off". As the knob is turned, the display will flash the new position of the selector even though the washer is locked on the operating cycle.

LCD SCREEN

The LCD screen displays available cycles, settings, estimated cycle time, icons for active options, lock indicators, and a status bar. The status bar indicates an approximate duration for the operating cycle. One segment is displayed at the start of a cycle and all segments are shown at the end. The LCD backlight will automatically turn off after 2 minutes.

DOOR LOCK INDICATOR

The washer door will automatically lock during operation. A lock will appear on the LCD screen. If operation is paused, the door will unlock after one minute.

CHILD LOCK INDICATORS

After starting the washer, press the "Delay" and "Start/Pause" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds to activate the Child Lock feature. A child icon will appear on the LCD screen. This feature is intended to prevent accidental changes to the operating machine. To cancel, press the "Delay" and "Start/Pause" buttons again for 3 seconds. The child icon will disappear from the LCD screen.

NOTE: This feature does not lock out the Cycle Selector knob.
