When using the micomTrooper with its whip antenna,

 

 

 

make sure to select YES for the TUNER option

 

 

 

(MENU>MORE>PROG>RAD>OPTS – see Figure 3-3).

 

 

 

When using the micomTrooper with a dipole or long

 

 

 

wire antenna (static operation as described in Appendix

 

 

 

A), make sure to select NO for the TUNER option.
