From the base

1)Pick up the corded handset, or press (speaker).

2)Listen for the dial tone.

3)Dial the number.

OR

1)Dial the number.

If a pause is required, press redial/pause.

2)Pick up the corded handset, or press (speaker).

Receiving a call

From the handset

1)Remove the handset from the cradle. (If AutoTalk is on, the phone will automatically answer the call when you pick it up.)

2)Press talk/flash.

OR

If the handset is off the cradle, press talk/flash or any number. (AutoTalk is on.)

From the base

Press (speaker) or pick up the corded handset.

•To set “AutoTalk”, see page 17.

•The base microphone is located under the base. Position yourself as near to the base as possible.
