Press [ENTER] to finalize the song selection.

The box surrounding the song number and file name will disappear, and the cursor will be positioned at the song number.

Press [F2] (Quantiz).

The message “This Song is not Internal Song. Load anyway?” will be displayed.

Press [F5] (OK) to load the song into the internal memory.

Press [F3] (Groove).

Press [F4] (Load).

The LoadTemplate display (SEQ/Quantize/Load) will appear.

Make sure that the cursor is positioned at the “File Type,” and make sure that “GROOVE” is selected.

Press [d] to move the cursor to the “File Name,” and make sure that “U_TEMPLA.SVT” is selected.

Press [F6] (Execute) to load the user groove template file.

When the user groove template file has been loaded, the Groove Quantize display (SEQ/Quantize) appears.

Press [STOP/PLAY] to preview the song.

Make sure that the cursor is positioned at the “Template Number,” and turn the VALUE dial to select a template you like from USR:001–016.

By switching from one template to another, you’ll notice the rhythmic ‘feel’ of the song also changes.

If the cursor is elsewhere, move it by pressing [u], then select the template.
