■Selecting a Play Level

The play level lets you control how many pads light during LIGHTING GUIDE SYSTEM lesson and dual light mode play. This means you set up the Digital Drum to allow practice that suits your own particular skill level.

To select a play level

1. While a rhythm is playing, press PLAY LEVEL.

2. Rotate the dial left or right to cycle through the available play level settings until the one you want is displayed.

•The following describes what each play level setting does.

When you want to do this:	Select one of these levels:
	L1	: Pad 1
Practice with only one pad	L1	: Pad 2
	L1	: Pad 3
	L1	: Pad 4
	L2	: Pad 1 & 2
	L2	: Pad 1 & 3
Practice with two pads	L2	: Pad 1 & 4
	L2	: Pad 2 & 3
	L2	: Pad 2 & 4
	L2	: Pad 3 & 4
	L3	: Pad 1 & 2 & 3
Practice with three pads	L3	: Pad 1 & 2 & 4
	L3	: Pad 1 & 3 & 4
	L3	: Pad 2 & 3 & 4
Practice with all four pads	L4 : 1 & 2 & 3 & 4
Turn off	L0 : Off

3. After you are finished, you can press another button to change to another mode.
