MAINTENANCE

LATCH ADJUSTMENT

The door latch may require adjustment as the door gasket material compresses after a few fi res. Removal of spacers will allow the latch to be moved closer to the door frame, causing a tighter seal.

1)Remove the Latch Assembly from the unit by undoing the outer 2 bolts.

3)Remove necessary amount of spacers sitting on the Mounting Bracket.

Ensure an equal amount of spacers are removed from both top and bottom.

2)Remove the Latch from the Mounting Bracket by undoing the inner

2 bolts.

4) Re-secure Latch to Mounting Bracket using 2 bolts.

spacers removed.

5) Re-secure the Latch Assembly to the unit using 2 bolts.
